Getting on with life
I was a happy baby,
very smiley and cheerful and
getting on with life and
looking forward to having a life,
having all that.
And just being myself.
And then me and my mum
and my brothers were um
wasn’t getting on
so my mum and my family
decided to split because
they weren’t getting on anyway,
like families do and er.
Cause my mum wanted
to move out of London anyway
and left the kids over here
to defend for themselves.
And that’s when I wanted
to have my life as well,
on my own
and defend for myself
which I did.
